Application: Inside and Out: Building the community response to HIV by enhancing the link between HIV prevention, testing, treatment and care

Applicant: AIDS Concern Foundation Limited
Objectives: The objectives of this programme are:
  1. Improve knowledge about risk and attitudes towards HIV infection among MSM;
  2. Minimize the chance of HIV infections caused by Chem Fun;
  3. Enhance the accessibility of HIV testing among MSM
  4. Ensure PLHIV support system access timely medical and psychosocial services (individual level);
  5. Provide support to PLHIV ‘s significant others/care givers so that they will be able to mutually support (Interpersonal level);
  6. Foster a supportive environment to people affected by HIV via public education with participation of PLHIV. (Community and society level);
  7. Enhance the awareness of CFSW towards their risk of HIV infection with appropriate action based on their risk level
  8. Provide HIV testing among CSW with risk of HIV infection
  9. Create supportive environment for CFSW to know their risk of HIV infection and HIV status
  10. Analyze the sexual behavior of CFSW
  11. To enhance HIV/STIs and sexual health knowledge of sexually active Indonesian and Filipino female and African ethnic minorities
  12. To enhance HIV/STIs test and voluntary counselling and testing (VCT) service awareness of sexually active Indonesian and Filipino female and African ethnic minorities
  13. To deliver culturally sensitive anti-stigma education, counselling and post-test follow-up service to HIV positive Indonesian and Filipino female and African ethnic minorities, their family and stakeholders
  14. To understand HIV-related knowledge, attitude, behaviour and needs of sexually active Indonesian and Filipino female and African ethnic minorities
