Application: LINK: Enhancing the link between HIV prevention, screening, treatment and care for the health of key populations (Executive Summary submitted by the applicant)
Applicant: AIDS Concern Foundation Limited
Objectives: The objectives of this programme are:
  1. to enhance the accessibility of HIV testing service and reach out more MSM particular by hard-to-reach MSM through outreach strategies to increase the awareness of HIV prevention;
  2. to create a supportive environment through awareness campaigns and events to increase the awareness of HIV prevention and reduce the risk behavior of MSM community;
  3. to enhance the community involvement and partnership in HIV prevention;
  4. to establish the Model of Service Monitoring and Evaluation Mechanism, including the Existing Surveillance Data Collection System
  5. to reach out to the hardest-to-reach, male clients of female sex workers who may patronize local or mainland sex services, or have multiple casual sex relationships to increase testing coverage;
  6. to drive HIV education and testing through partnerships with male-oriented services and support groups and social marketing campaign;
  7. to strengthen the existing sexual health service responding to the needs of the vulnerable communities and the changing HIV epidemic;
  8. to establish the Model of Service Monitoring and Evaluation Mechanism, including the Existing Surveillance Data Collection System;
  9. to create youth-friendly environment in order to enhance the accessibility of HIV/AIDS related information and HIV testing service;
  10. to enhance the confidence of the targeted youths to have HIV testing and adopt safer sex;
  11. to establish the Model of Service Monitoring and Evaluation Mechanism, including the Existing Surveillance Data Collection System;
  12. to ensure newly diagnosed PLHIV can access quality support service and early treatment;
  13. to enhance the psychosocial wellbeing and social support of People living with HIV(PLHIV); and
  14. to reduce the stigma towards HIV with the joint efforts of PLHIV and stakeholders.
