Application: Awareness, acceptability, and effects of HIV treatment as prevention among men who have sex with men at risk of and living with HIV
Applicant: Department of Special Education and Counselling, The Education University of Hong Kong
Objectives: The objectives of this programme are:
  1. To examine the current levels of HIV-related stigma and discrimination that are experienced by MSM living with HIV in Hong Kong;
  2. To assess the awareness and acceptability of HIV treatment as prevention among MSM at risk of and living with HIV;
  3. To investigate whether and how the belief in HIV treatment as prevention is related to HIV-related stigma, mental health, adherence to HIV treatment and prevention, as well as HIV risk perception and compensation
