Application: Behavioral Patterns of Online Sex-Seeking via Geosocial Networking Sites and Associations with Online-Initiated Risky Sexual Behaviors among Men Who Have Sex with Men in Hong Kong
Applicant: The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Objectives: The objectives of this project are:
  1. To identify the behavioral patterns of online sex-seeking through geosocial networking sites (GSNS) among MSM in Hong Kong, including passive sexual communication via online profiles, active sexual communication with potential sexual partners online, and GSNS use.
  2. To investigate the associations between online sex-seeking behaviors and encounters of condomless anal intercourses (CAI) with different types of male sex partners initially met via GSNS using event-level analysis.
