(Executive Summary submitted by the applicant)
Applicant: Department of Health Technology and Informatics, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University
Objectives: The objectives of this project are:
  1. Developing a simple and cost effective genotyping resistance test to detect major resistance mutations to integrase inhibitors.
  2. Evaluating the diagnostic performance of the new genotyping assay against the Sanger sequencing for detection of integrase resistance.
  3. Determining the prevalence of major mutations associated with integrase inhibitor resistance in ART-naive, ART-experienced/INIs naive, and INIs-experienced patients in our community.
