Application: HIV education and voluntary counselling and testing services for HIV and STIs for female sex workers

Objectives: The objectives of this programme are:
  1. through outreach visits and online outreach, to reach out to venue-based and private contact-based FSWs;
  2. to deliver condoms and lubricants and HIV prevention messages to the target FSWs and promote safe sex practice and regular HIV testing among them;
  3. to provide free, anonymous, accessible and non-stigmatising voluntary counselling and testing for HIV and STIs for the target FSWs;
  4. to engage FSWs, as peer educators and "HIV/AIDS ambassadors", in HIV/STIs prevention efforts; and
  5. to provide public education on HIV/AIDS and anti-stigmatisation to interested individuals from the general public.
