Application: To provide HIV education and voluntary counselling and testing service for HIV and Syphilis for hard-to-reach female sex workers who have less access to prevention activities, and to involve peer educators and the general public in the collective efforts for HIV prevention

Applicant: ACTION FOR REACH OUT
Objectives: The objectives of this project are:
  1. to reach out and distribute condoms and HIV educational materials to street-based FSWs and FSWs working in karaoke nightclubs, saunas, hair salons, foot spas, massage parlours, bars and other hidden or emerging settings;
  2. to deliver information and educational messages on safe sex and HIV prevention and to promote condom use and regular HIV screening test among the target FSWs;
  3. to provide accessible and non-stigmatising voluntary counselling and testing for HIV and Syphilis for the target FSWs; and
  4. to provide public education on HIV/AIDS and anti-stigmatisation to interested individuals from the general public.
