Application: Awareness of in-home HIV tests and their use in men who have sex with men in Hong Kong

Applicant: Stanley Ho Centre for Emerging Infectious Diseases, The Chinese University of Hong Kong
Objectives: The objectives of this programme are:-
  1. to examine the awareness and perception of MSM regarding the performance, availability and utilisation of in-home HIV tests and other rapid tests;
  2. to determine the source of access to such tests and the linkages of testing with counselling and clinical services in MSM who have used the tests; and
  3. to explore the preference of MSM for in-home tests as compared to conventional testing.
